MEET YOUR DIVISION LEADERSHIP

Stephanie Walker (Theatre for Youth Division Chair) graduated from the University of S.C. with an M.A.T. in Theatre. She has been teaching K-5 Theatre at Saluda River Academy for the Arts in Lexington 2 for 11 years. Ms. Walker also serves as the ABC grant manager for SRAA and lead instructor for the district’s gifted theatre program. Most recently Ms. Walker served on the writing team for the 2017 theatre standards as well as facilitator for the Curriculum Leadership in the Arts II summer institute. In addition to inspiring her students through theatre, she is passionate about integrating mindfulness into her teaching.


Emily Pears Caitlyn (Theatre for Youth Division Vice Chair) is completing her 2nd year as the theatre teacher at Bonner Elementary in Berkeley County School District. She holds a BFA in musical theatre performance from Western Carolina University and an MAT in Theatre Education from College of Charleston. She has participated in the SCTA TFY Festival as an adjudicator, has brought her students to participate, and is excited to step into this new role!
